Use of social media plug-ins (third-party services/features)

The online catalog, available on ECOROLL AG’s website, uses so-called social media plug-ins, i.e. you can directly contact the social network from within the catalog. The servers of these social media plug-in providers thus receive information about which websites are visited.

1. Facebook

You can share content on Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) via our online catalog on the ECOROLL website. This feature can be recognized by the Facebook logo. When you visit the website, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is directly transmitted by Facebook to your browser and integrated into the website by it. ECOROLL has no control over the amount of data Facebook collects using this plug-in. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the data’s further processing and use by Facebook, as well as related rights and privacy settings options, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy: www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you are a Facebook member and you do not want Facebook to collect any data about your activity on our website and link it to your member data stored on Facebook, you must first log out of your Facebook account.

2. Twitter

You can also share catalog content via Twitter (Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). This feature can be recognized by a stylized bird. If you share a page using such a button, your browser connects directly to Twitter's servers. The content of this plug-in is directly transmitted by Twitter to your browser. ECOROLL has no influence on the extent of the data collection and the purpose of its use by Twitter. For more information, see Twitter’s Privacy Policy on http://twitter.com/privacy.

3. Google+

Within the catalog, you can also share content via Google's Google+ button (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States). This feature can be identified by the "g" sign on a white background. As soon as you share any catalog content through such a button, the browser connects directly to Google servers. The content of this plug-in is transmitted to your browser right away by Google and then integrated into the website. ECOROLL has no influence on the extent of data collection by Google with this plug-in. For the purpose and scope of data collection and the data’s further processing and use by Google, as well as related rights and privacy settings options, please refer to Google’s privacy policy and FAQs: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
