Hannover Messe 2026: Premiere in the lightweight construction pavilion and visit by the Lower Saxony Minister of Economic Affairs

Hannover Messe is the world's leading industrial trade fair and offers a unique platform for innovations and technologies from the fields of industrial automation, energy and drive technology, the digital factory, research and development and lightweight construction. As one of the most important meeting places for decision-makers from all over the world, the trade fair showcases the latest trends and solutions for the industry of tomorrow every year.

This year, ECOROLL AG exhibited at the Hannover Messe for the first time. The stand was located in the Lightweight Construction Pavilion, the ideal place to present the company's own technology and vision of lightweight construction. After all, roller burnishing and deep rolling play a central role in the production of lightweight construction-optimised, heavy-duty components.

Targeted mechanical surface treatment helps to increase the dynamic strength of components while saving material and weight. This makes roller burnishing and deep rolling an important building block for sustainable and efficient lightweight construction solutions.

ECOROLL AG was not only present at the trade fair stand, but also on the stage of the CAE Forum, where Dr Oliver Maiß, Head of Research and Development, spoke on the topic of "Cost-efficient component downsizing - process-reliable deep rolling enables the safe reduction of component dimensions".

Visit by the Minister of Economic Affairs of Lower Saxony

A special moment was the visit of Grant Hendrik Tonne, Lower Saxony's Minister for Economic Affairs, Transport and Building, to our stand on Thursday. Minister Tonne was very interested in our technologies and the opportunities that roller burnishing and deep rolling offer for lightweight construction and sustainable production. In a detailed discussion with Dr Oliver Maiß and Markus Diedrich-Philippi, Head of Sales, he exchanged views on the importance of innovative manufacturing processes for the competitiveness of Germany as a business location.

ECOROLL can look back on a successful first participation at the Hannover Messe and is already looking forward to the AMB in Stuttgart to present our solutions for lightweight construction and mechanical surface processing to an international audience.
