The following tools match your specifications:G
Processing diameter:
Suits with these workpiece geometries:
G tools for cylindrical bores
G tools machine cylindrical bores up to a diameter of 200.99 mm. They can be used up to IT8 or, in the case of thin-walled workpieces, up to IT9. They are characterised by reliable operation, high accuracy and short machining times. Damage to burnished surfaces is avoided thanks to automatic unclamping during tool retraction.
- Processing of through holes and blind holes.
- Machining of all metallic materials up to a tensile strength of 1400 N/mm2 and a maximum hardness of HRC = 45.
- Surface quality of Rz < 1 µm (Ra = 0.2 µm) achievable.
HGx-11
Processing diameter:
Suits with these workpiece geometries:
HGx-11 for machining small bores
HGx-11 tools are used for roller burnishing and deep rolling small bores ≥ 6 mm. These are 2-point tools that are therefore bend-neutral for long rolling lengths. They are suitable for slightly trumpet-shaped bores (e.g. connecting rods). This type of tool is not only suitable for soft machining, but also for hard machining of workpieces made of hardened steel and other hardened alloys up to 65 HRC.
- Increasing the fatigue strength and service life of dynamically stressed components.
- Introduction of compressive residual stresses in the sub-surface zone with simultaneous smoothing of the surface.
- Versatile application, thus reducing production costs.
HGx-1
Processing diameter:
Suits with these workpiece geometries:
HGx-1 tools for drill holes
HGX-1 tools machine bores with a diameter of ≥ 19 mm. They can be used on lathes, boring machines and machining centres.
- The diameter is set by radial infeed as coarse positioning.
- Fine adjustment is performed automatically by the tracking system.
HGx-4
Processing diameter:
Suits with these workpiece geometries:
HGX-4 tools for drill holes
HGx-4 tools machine holes with a diameter of 50 - 150 mm. They are used on deep hole drilling machines.
- Mounting by means of BTA drill pipe connection.
- Unlimited rolling length.
GZ
Processing diameter:
Suits with these workpiece geometries:
GZ tool for roller burnishing cylinder tubes
ECOROLL's internal burnishing tool type GZ is used together with the SK skiving head for the fine machining of cylinder tubes. It is used on deep hole drilling machines with BTA drilling systems and is characterised by reliable operation and high accuracy. After machining, the roller head collapses automatically, allowing the tool to be removed in a rapid feed without damaging the workpiece.
- Diameter tolerance of IT8 or IT9 and surface quality of Rz < 1 µm achievable.
- Push or pull machining possible.
- Short machining time.
- Convenient diameter adjustment and easy replacement of wear parts.
EG5-08F
Processing diameter:
Suits with these workpiece geometries:
EG5-08F Tools for machining groove flanks
EG5-08F tools machine groove flanks on the face or circumference and bores. They can be used on CNC lathes or conventional lathes and work in a single setting, eliminating set-up and downtimes.
- Surface quality of Rz < 1 μm (Ra ≤ 0.1 μm) achievable.
- Machining of all metallic materials up to a tensile strength of 1400 N/mm2 and a maximum hardness of HRC ≤ 45.
- Consistent and controlled work result by measuring the rolling force.
- Max. rolling depth 20 mm for bores from Ø 8 mm.
GMI
Processing diameter:
Suits with these workpiece geometries:
GMI for cylindrical bores with Ø 3.70 mm to Ø 21.00 mm
GMI tools machine through holes and blind holes and, thanks to their compact design, are ideal for use in machines with limited working space. They can be used on sliding headstock lathes as well as on CNC-controlled lathes, drilling and milling machines, machining centres or conventional machine tools. Automatic unclamping during tool retraction prevents damage to the rolled surface.
- Can be used up to tolerance class IT8 (up to IT9 for thin-walled workpieces).
- Machining of all metallic materials up to a tensile strength of 1,400 N/mm2 and a maximum hardness of HRC ≤ 45.
- Surface quality of Rz < 1 μm (Ra ≤ 0.1 μm) achievable.
