EG14 - Flexible tool system for a variety of surfaces
EG14 tools machine cylindrical and tapered external surfaces, external or internal plane surfaces as well as cylindrical and conical bores. They can be used on CNC or conventional lathes and work in a single set-up. The face of the roller is free, allowing machining close to shoulders and other edges.
- Surface quality of Rz < 1 μm (Ra ≤ 0.1 μm) achievable.
- Machining of all metallic materials up to a tensile strength of 1400 N/mm2 and a maximum hardness of HRC ≤ 45.

EG3T tools for processing surfaces of rotational symmetry with straight edges
EG3T tools can be used to economically roller burnish all rotationally symmetrical surfaces with straight edges. These tools have been specially developed for use on swiss type lathes and machines with limited working space. Thanks to their modular design, they are also suitable for universal use on CNC or conventional lathes.

HGx-9 for external machining of rotation-symmetric surfaces
HGx-9 tools machine all rotationally symmetrical components and irregular free-form surfaces. They can roller burnish and deep roll all metallic and hardened materials up to 65 HRC on conventional and CNC lathes. An external pressure supply is required to operate the tool in the universal standard version (hydraulic unit and high-pressure supply line). Pressure is supplied from the side or rear through the clamping bar.

EG5-40M

EG5-40M tools for external surfaces with contours
EG5-40M tools can machine external surfaces with subsequent radius to the plane surface in a single set-up on CNC or conventional lathes, eliminating set-up and auxiliary processing time. They are characterised in particular by short main times and a consistent and controlled work result by measuring the rolling force. No dust or grinding residue is produced and only minimal lubrication (oil or emulsion) is required. The rolling force is infinitely adjustable by means of support adjustment.
- In this variant of the EG5 series, the roller is equipped with an integrated 4-point bearing.
- Suitable for low and medium strength materials.
- The roller head with extremely narrow roller is attached to the spring-loaded part of the tool body.

EG5 - Modular system for universal use
EG5 tools enable economical roller burnishing of all straight, rotation-symmetric surfaces. Depending on the design, external cylindrical and conical surfaces, external and internal plane surfaces as well as cylindrical and conical bores can be machined. They can be used on CNC lathes or conventional lathes and work in a single set-up, eliminating set-up and downtimes.

RA tools for cylindrical external surfaces from Ø 1 mm
RA tools machine cylindrical external surfaces on CNC-controlled lathes, drilling and milling machines, machining centres or conventional machine tools. Their compact design makes them ideal for use in machines with limited working space. They are available with various cylindrical shanks (optionally also with a hollow shank for very long components). Automatic unclamping during tool retraction prevents damage to the roller-burnished surface.
- Can be used up to tolerance class IT8, for tolerances ≤ IT11 the special version RAP with pressure-controlled expansion is available.

EG90 tools machine all symmetrically rotating surfaces with linear boundaries and subsequent radii or transitions, such as cylinders, external tapers, plane surfaces and internal cones. They are suitable for complete machining in a single clamping operation after machining on the lathe or machining centre. They are designed for use on CNC machine tools, but can also be used on conventional lathes with the same advantages.
- A particular advantage is the overhung roller in the feed direction, which allows machining close to shoulders and other interfering edges.
- All metals up to a hardness of 45 HRC can be roller burnished.
- Starting from a finished surface, surfaces with roughness depths of up to Rz < 1 μm can be achieved in a single pass.

HGx-5 tools are suitable for the external machining of a wide range of workpieces, such as cylindrical and conical contours, flat surfaces, transition radii, free-form surfaces and sealing grooves. They can be used on CNC lathes with tool drive and are ready for use immediately after insertion into the turret. They are equipped with an integrated high-pressure pump so that no feed line is required.
- Available with VDI shanks in the diameter range 20 - 80 mm for all common drive systems.
- They can be used as right or left-hand tools because of the symmetrical tool design and double-toothed VDI shank.

HGx-20

HGx-20 tools for narrow cylinders and thin-walled components
HGx-20 tools have been specially designed for the external machining of narrow cylinders (0.5 mm in diameter) without additional support to prevent the workpiece from bending. Two fixed rolling elements prevent the workpiece from flexing, a third element burnishes or deep rolls the surface. It enables consistent product quality because the rolling force is pressure-dependent and therefore easy to monitor.
- Bend-neutral processing enables the smoothing and deep rolling of thin wires.
