Hydrostatic tools

HGx-9

Roller burnishing and deep rolling
Processing diameter:
⌀ ∞
Suits with these workpiece geometries:
  • Cylindrical outside contour
  • Cylindrical outside diameter with transition radius
  • Plane face
  • Plane surface with transition radius
  • Tapered bore
  • Inside contour
  • Spherical face
  • Fillet (internal)
  • Fillet (external)
  • Outside taper

HGx-9 for external machining of rotation-symmetric surfaces

HGx-9 tools machine all rotationally symmetrical components and irregular free-form surfaces. They can roller burnish and deep roll all metallic and hardened materials up to 65 HRC on conventional and CNC lathes. An external pressure supply is required to operate the tool in the universal standard version (hydraulic unit and high-pressure supply line). Pressure is supplied from the side or rear through the clamping bar.

  • Suitable for roller burnishing and deep rolling of all metallic materials as well as hardened materials up to 65 HRC.
  • Operation with external pressure supply.
  • Rolling force dependent on pressure, therefore easy to monitor process with consistent product quality.
Multi-Roller Tools

RHA

Roller burnishing and deep rolling
Processing diameter:
⌀ 5 - 80
Radius:
r 0,4 - 3
Suits with these workpiece geometries:
  • Fillet (external)

RHA tools for external deep rolling of fillets

With RHA tools, external fillets can be completely machined in a single operation. These tools can be used on conventional or CNC lathes and are characterised by reliable operation and high accuracy.

  • For workpieces from 5 to 80 mm in diameter and 0.4 to 3 mm in radius.
  • Machining of materials up to a maximum hardness of HRC = 45.
